Prof 3 (Friday evening and Saturday morning) Writing

Here's the second assessed writing for this term. The deadline for this is June 7 (Friday class) or June 8 (Saturday morning class).

Answer ONE of the following questions in 280 – 320 words.

1. (Students who attended class on 31 May or 1 June only) Write a report on your recent meeting from either the point of view of the film makers or the directors of Concordia. Summarise the main points agreed, and indicate how the project will proceed. Write your report in 280 – 320 words.

2. An international film and cinema magazine is running a competition for budding film makers. The winner of the competition will work with a world-famous film director to make the film. To enter the competition, you have to write a proposal about a film you would like to make. You should include details such as the estimated cost, the plot, the location, the actors you envisage using, special effects etc. Write your proposal in 280 – 350 words.

3. You have recently taken part in a college competition called 'Innovation and Reward', where you were required to design and run a project which was beneficial to your college, raising the funds to run the project yourself. Write a report for the college principle about your team's project, including information such as how the funds were raised, what profits or losses were made, what benefit the project was for the college, and what you and your fellow team members learned from the experience. Write your report in 280 – 350 words.
