Prof 2 (Saturday Classes) Easter Homework
Here is the work you should be getting on with over the Easter break. Remember, when you get back, we'll have another two units of the book to do, with 2 more progress tests and Proficiency-type exercises, too, so this is a chance for you to get ahead!
1) The next unit of the book is 'Words'. To go with this, you should work through the following units of English Vocabulary in Use Advanced: Section One – Aspects of vocabulary learning (i) - (viii); Units 1 – 6, Word Formation; Units 96 – 100, Aspects of Variation That's a lot of units. This will take you through to the end of the year, but don't leave it all till the last minute - start now!
2) Watch this YouTube video: Professor David Crystal, one of the world's leading linguistic experts, challenges the myth that new communication technologies are destroying language
