Prof 4 - Tuesday

Following on from our class yesterday, here are a couple of things to do and take note of.

First of all, the vocabulary book you should all have is English Vocabulary in Use Advanced by McCarthy and O'Dell (CUP). For homework this week, do unit 37 'Animals and birds'.

You should also look at the vocabulary you learned from the text we listened to and read about Dogs on the New York Catwalk (not the names of all the breeds, though, unless you really want to learn them). We'll do a follow up exercise on this vocabulary next class.

The book we are going to read this term is 'Refugee Boy' by Benjamin Zephaniah. You can buy this locally if you can find it, or on sites such as amazon.co.uk or the book depository.
