Sharon Stone and Karma

Knowing my Buddhist leanings, people sometimes ask me about 'karma'. Sharon Stone caused a stir this week, when she claimed that the earthquake in China might be a result of bad karma for its treatment of Tibetans.

CPE Speaking Test Date

According to the email I received last week, the CPE speaking tests will take place in the morning on June 15.

AC2.1-17F - Missing Students

A lot of people missed Friday evening's AC2.1 (CPE1) class.

Students in that group should work through the blue pages and exam practice exercises of Unit 4 of the Student's book (up to page 83), which is what we did in the second half of the class.

Week 6 - 10 May: In-class composition

Week 13 - 17 May: Test Questions on 'My Family and Other Animals'

Week 20 - 24 May: End of Year Exam
