An Appeal

I've seen some pretty appalling things on the roads this last couple of months. Stupid things, careless things, agressive things, downright homocidal things sometimes.

Don't let it be you. Don't overtake on the inside lane, don't cross unbroken white lines. Don't jump lights. Especially, don't drive too close to the person in front. Especially on the motorway. Even if you think they're driving too slowly and should get out of your way. Even if you're angry. Stay cool. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Bad driving isn't cool. It's stupid. It's dangerous. It puts the life of the dangerous driver and the people around him or her at risk. His or her family and friends, the lives of the family and friends of the people in the other cars around, too.

Don't let it be you. Help to make Portuguese roads safer.
